Registration Troubleshooting Guide

Quick fixes for email verification issues.

Email Verification Issues

Error Message:

Email Not Received

Check These Locations in your Email-Account:

  • Primary Inbox: Look for "ChartLense Team"
  • Spam/Junk Folder: Common destination for automated emails
  • Promotions Tab (Gmail): May be categorized as promotional
  • Updates Tab (Gmail): May be categorized as updates

If Still Missing:

  1. Resend Email (after 60-second cooldown):

    • Click "Resend Email" in registration modal
    • Wait for countdown to complete if button is disabled
    • Check all email folders again
  2. Email Provider Issues:

    • Some corporate email systems block automated emails
    • Try with a personal email address (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook)
    • Contact IT if using company email

Link Expired:

  • Use "Resend Email" to get a fresh verification link
  • Complete verification quickly after receiving new email

Link Doesn't Work:

  • Copy the entire URL and paste in browser address bar
  • Disable browser ad blockers temporarily
  • Try in incognito/private browsing mode

Browser Issues:

  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Try different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
  • Ensure JavaScript is enabled

Still Having Issues?

If email verification continues to fail:

  1. Check your Chrome version: ChartLense requires Chrome 88+
  2. Try a different email provider: Use Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook if using corporate email
  3. Contact support: Email us at [email protected] with:
    • Your email address
    • Browser version
    • Steps already attempted from this guide
