1. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for first-time subscribers to our paid plans (STARTER and PRO).
Full Refund Eligibility (within 30 days of initial purchase):
- Technical issues preventing service functionality
- Service does not meet described features or functionality
- Billing errors or unauthorized charges
- Dissatisfaction with service quality
Fair Usage and Pro-rated Refunds:
While each AI analysis incurs immediate computational costs (OpenAI API fees, cloud infrastructure, processing overhead), we balance customer satisfaction with fair usage:
- Light usage (≤50% of quota): Full refund available
- Heavy usage (>50% of quota): Pro-rated refund based on quota consumed
- Multiple upgrades/downgrades: Refunds subject to review

- Reason for refund request
All refund requests are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
2. What Is Not Refundable
The following items are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- LenseBoost purchases: One-time quota top-ups are consumed immediately and cannot be refunded
- Subscription renewals: Refunds only available within 30 days of initial purchase, not for recurring renewals
- Unused subscription periods: No refunds for unused time after cancellation (access continues until end of billing period)
- Terms of Service violations: Accounts terminated for policy violations are not eligible for refunds
- Fraud or abuse: Evidence of refund abuse, manipulation, or fraudulent activity disqualifies refund eligibility
3. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account settings in the Chrome extension
- The Paddle customer portal accessible from our website
- Contacting support at [email protected]
After Cancellation:
- You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- Your account then reverts to the FREE tier (10 analyses per day)
- No refunds are provided for unused days in your billing cycle (per Section 2)
- You may request a refund if within 30 days of initial purchase (per Section 1)
4. Subscription Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher tier (e.g., PRO to STARTER):
- The downgrade takes effect at your next billing cycle
- You continue to enjoy current plan benefits until then
- No refunds or credits for the price difference
5. EU Consumer Rights and Right of Withdrawal
For EU/UK Customers: You have a statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU) and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
30-Day Withdrawal Period:
- You may cancel your subscription within 30 days of purchase
- Refunds processed according to Section 1 (fair usage and pro-rated terms apply)

Digital Content and Immediate Performance:
By subscribing, you expressly request immediate access to our AI analysis service. You acknowledge that:
- Each analysis triggers immediate computational costs (OpenAI API, cloud infrastructure)
- Digital content delivery begins immediately upon subscription
- Heavy usage (>50% quota) may result in pro-rated refunds rather than full refunds
Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee (Section 1) meets or exceeds EU statutory withdrawal rights while accounting for actual service consumption.
6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis only for:
- Technical errors: Duplicate charges or billing system errors
- Service outages: Extended service unavailability (>48 hours)
- Fraudulent transactions: Unauthorized charges

All refund requests are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We will review each request within 5 business days. Final approval is at Paddle's discretion in accordance with their Buyer Terms.

- Check your subscription status in the Chrome extension
- Review your billing history in the customer portal
- Contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback
Important: Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate account suspension and loss of access to all services.
