ChartLense for iPhone
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. Overview
This policy applies to the ChartLense iOS app. It explains the information processed when you use the app to obtain AI-powered analysis of a trading-chart image. ChartLense is provided by Kolmira UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
2. Information we process
Chart images. When you take a photo, select an image, or use the Share Extension, we process the image you choose to provide the analysis you request. Camera and photo-library permissions are requested only after you choose the relevant feature.
Account information. When you sign up or sign in, we process the email address and account identifier supplied through email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. Apple may provide a name or private relay email on your first authorization.
Service usage. We process your plan and analysis usage to authenticate you, apply your available quota, operate the service, and prevent abuse.
Support correspondence. If you email support, we process the information you include so that we can respond.
3. How we use information
We use chart images to generate the requested analysis; account information to create and secure your account; and usage information to deliver, maintain, and protect the service. The app does not access browser history, browser tabs, contacts, microphone audio, or precise location.
4. Service providers
To operate ChartLense, chart images and the information needed to fulfill your request may be processed by Cloudflare (our secure API infrastructure), Google (AI analysis), OpenAI (moderation of custom-prompt text only), Firebase/Google (authentication), and RevenueCat and Apple (in-app purchase processing and subscription status). These providers process data on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
Chart images are not permanently stored by ChartLense after analysis is complete. Account and usage information are retained while your account is active and, where necessary, for up to 36 months after your last activity for legal, security, and record-keeping purposes. Google may retain request data temporarily for abuse and misuse monitoring under its policies.
6. Your choices and rights
You can deny camera or photo-library access in iOS Settings and still use other available ways to provide an image. You can delete your ChartLense account from the app’s Settings screen. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information.
7. Contact
For privacy requests or questions, email [email protected]. For company information, see our imprint.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the app or applicable law changes. We will publish the updated policy here and revise the date above.
